Snowmobile Tour for Beginners
Destination NWT offers Snowmobile Tour for beginners 3-times per day from November to April (Ice Conditions Permitting). Guests will begin the tour with complementary pick up from hotels to the Snowmobile Shop, then will receive 10-15 minutes of detailed training about operations of the vehicle, safety concerns and trip orientation. After the training, Destination NWT snowmobile guides assess each guest’s hand and foot wear and will offer complementary rental replacement for the duration of the tour if necessary. Guest may also choose to rent Jackets and Snow-Pants for extra cost. Each guest is fitted with a heated helmet. The tour is comprised of nearly 60 minutes on the snowmobile, and the terrain is of mixed frozen lakes and forest trail.

Non-hotel guests must reach out to operator at least one day prior to the tour
Bring your own balaclava or scarf, warmest clothing, liner gloves and mitts
